> Take photographs of expensive items - this will be helpful to the police in recovering your items and ensure that you get them returned quicker. Plus if you are in the situation where you need to claim insurance then you have evidence of ownership and quality.
> Never leave expensive items outside, even if you are just popping in the house for a moment - opportunists are just that, and they only need a moment to steal from you!
